Event Information

Title: Water Reuse and Resource Recovery: Brines, Trains, and (EV) Automobiles

Description: While there are no Planes in this session, the focus will be on novel strategies and technologies to help industries treat difficult wastewaters, reuse treated effluents, and recover valuable resources. The session will explore the challenges and opportunities to create a more circular water economy at an EV battery production plant, a locomotive engine manufacturing facility; and looking at advanced lithium recovery.

Learning Objectives
At the end of this session, attendees will be able to (1) identify the economic and environmental criteria to drive a more Circular Water Economy, (2) determine advanced treatment opportunities that enable reuse of industrial effluents , and (3) recognize new technology developments that improve Resource Recovery for industries.
